My name is Lola! I had a real bad owner my whole life; he abused me regularly then finally grew tired of that and left me to die at Miami Dade Animal Services. My previous owner also didn’t take care of me so I was filthy, and infested with fleas & ticks. Even though I am young, only 1 year & 6 months old, due to my owner’s abuse I became very scared that other people would hurt me too. Nobody wanted to adopt me since I was scared and not giving kisses right away; the shelter even labeled me “fearful” and put me on the euthanasia list since they believed I was not adoptable. It was all about to end when someone rescued me! I got a bath, medicine for my skin, treatment for my fleas, ticks and AND I couldn’t be happier! My rescuer was patient and kind and gave me the time I needed to learn how to trust people again. Now I’m looking for my forever home with someone who will love me as much as I love them. I have all my shots, I am microchipped, spayed, and house trained. That means no messes inside the house so I can spend quality time with my family! I am great with big & small dogs, kids, and cats. Basically, I’m awesome.
